We take pride in performing diverse repertoire from many cultures around the world, and in our ability to have fun as we learn.  

We are a very young choral group that was formed in 2015. We are conducted by maestro Leonardo San Juan and we seek to spread contemporary music by bringing to the public exotic and unique works from all over the world. We are conducted by maestro Leonardo San Juan and we seek to spread contemporary music by bringing to the public exotic and unique works from all over the world. Somos un grupo coral muy joven que se formó en el año 2015. Estamos dirigidos por el maestro Leonardo San Juan y buscamos difundir la música contemporánea acercando al público obras exóticas y únicas de todas partes del mundo.

This vision has grown into Chai-T...  moreChai-Town was formed at the University of Illinois, when a group of young men came together with their love for music. They wanted to show how two seemingly different cultures can fuse together to produce something great. This vision has grown into Chai-Town A Cappella. Last year we performed at the a cappella competition Anahat, in Berkeley, CA, as a guest act at the dance competition Naach Nation, in New York, NY, and across the Midwest. As 2012 approaches, our group will be reaching its 10th anniversary and putting out our THIRD studio album! Chai-Town is a completely student-run, non-profit group of 16 members, each of whom has a passion for music. We love sharing this passion with our friends and family, our community, and the world.  less

Six male solists present the deep yet humorous side of vocal music. Their clarity in sound and expression, the abillity to let music speak for itself, sets them apart. Their individual artistic skills and personalities harmonize into a one of a kind ensemble! Pro Vocants musical interpretation has been well received all over, earning them a third placing at the German A cappella Contest 2012!
