I'm curious what other community choral groups charge for admission to your Concert. We currently charge $25 for adults but are reevaluating that price since members of our board feel it is too high. Thanks for your input!

Male voice singing is traditionally very popular in the county, there being 33 federated choirs numbering 1,300 Singers out of a total population of nearly half a million. The choir was formed in 1974 and quickly matured into one of the leading and largeSt male choirs in Cornwall. It now has over 55 members including several founder members. The choir gives around 25 Concerts each year, raising many thousands of pounds for various charities. On the 10th July 2010 they celebrated their 900th public appearance. During a Concert tour of Gibraltar in 1979 they performed in the famous St. Michael's Cave. The SYC annually participates in the Family ChriStmas Concert, and choreographed year end show. They also Stage an OrcheStra Concert each spring, which has presented pieces such as Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass, Vivaldi's Gloria, and Requiems by Mozart, Faure, Rutter, and Daley, to name a few. This year, the SYC looks forward to singing Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. The Youth Chorus joined the senior and chamber choirs in their 2009 tour to the UK.
