Celebrating world Music and arts Promoting multi-cultural awareness Supporting children's health and education projects in The Gambia, West Africa As well as hosting an annual World Musicand Arts Festival and the Choir we also run a weekly West African Drumming workshop. Both groups enjoy performing at our own and other local community events and festivals.

Ages include high School to adult, encouraging families to perform together in one group. We also feature an eclectic orchestra with instruments from a variety of cultures including but not limited to strings, brass, percussion, taiko, sitar, and more!  

The singing girls had alot of fun performing to a massive audience at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton when UK Olympic medallist Diver Pete Waterfield made a special appearance. Lots of Laughs from the audience, and much amusement in the chorus!

The choristers looked at the formation of the Choir as further development to their shared roots from singing with the Limburg Cathedral Boys Choir. They also looked to continue the tradition of successful male chamber Choirs founded by former members of Limburg Cathedral Boys Choir, which is unique in Germany. The ensemble has committed itself to presenting the audience with unfamiliar male Choir works of the highest level, but without neglecting the traditional canon of compositions, which makes for a exceptional combination. The repertoire includes a range of the following: Gregorian chants, works of old masters, romantic motets, contemporary compositions, arrangements of jazz and pop songs. During the Choir’s existence, it has taken part in many Musical festivals, and proven its quality by winning many first prizes, and has been joined in concert by world renowned soloists and Choirs from Britain and America. Every year, the Choir perform around twenty concerts throughout Cumbria, raising thousands of pounds for charitable organisations and other worthy causes. The services of the Choir are provided entirely free of charge to the organisations they perform for. Outside the county they have performed in such notable venues as The Royal Albert Hall, London; on three occasions, Cardiff Arms Park; twice, Sheffield Arena and in Edinburgh. Horlick High School, Gilmore Middle School, McKinley Middle School, Olympia Brown Elementary, Gifford Elementary, Winslow Elementary, Wadewitz Elementary and AppleChor from Red Apple Elementary combined to sing it as the Finale to the festival. There were about 280 children involved.
