The cornerstone of the Chorus is traditional boychoir music including sacred and secular pieces spanning the Middle Ages to the present.
The Chorus incorporates songs and ballads of the American Southwest and other repertoire into its program in a unique way. Costumed as cowboys the boys sing the songs of the saddle and showcase their trick rodeo roping. The Chorus also performs contemporary music including Broadway show tunes, international songs, holiday music and modern favorites.
Additionally, the Chorus represents the Tucson community as a world renowned choral organization. It has toured throughout the U.S. and many countries around the world. There have been collaborations with national symphony orchestras, radio and TV appearances, partnerships with diverse arts and cultural organi... less

We are a truly trans-generational choir consisting of staff, parents, colleagues, friends and family from across the Formby High School community. At full strength, we have over 80 talented members and we have recently launched a smaller ‘function’ group – the ‘G:Force Executive’ for weddings and private functions.
We support the national Sing Up campaign and perform regularly across the local community. This exciting and innovative choir rehearses every Tuesday evening during term time, from 6.30pm til 8.00pm. Join us for fun and laughter every week, plus great gigs, inspirational songs and memorable experiences!
Our repertoire consists of a broad variety of soul, Gospel, R&B, pop and contemporary commissions. Arrangements are tailored to our distinctive vocal style, highlighting some incredible ensemble and solo abilities.

Boosting about 190 choristers ages 5 to 18, the HCC offers youth vocal training and music instruction to foster creative expression and appreciation of music. Its latest choir program, Lads & Gents, is a boys choir program that provides young male singers (ages 8 to 28) with an opportunity to explore their choral instrument within a safe, supportive environment, surrounded by other boys and young men.
An internationally-acclaimed and award-winning choir, the HCC has been invited to tour across Canada, Europe and more recently Saint-Lô, France for the Polyfollia concert (Oct. 21-26, 2014), a biennial world showcase and marketplace for choral singing. Colindale!
Out he walks, six feet tall, twenty two Years, ripped jeans,
but respectable
(it's Saturday after all).
He's no threat he's Going to cruise the shops.
Along she walks with her groceries old, frail,
her life hangs behind her like a snail-trail,
dirty but still quite natural.
Her eyes focus, she sees him:
the determined stride and the baseball cap,
the torn pants and his Walkman.
Fearful, frightened, full of disgust and mistrust,
she crosses the street, scowling
like a scornful cat that's just been thrown off a lap.
I felt ashamed, I felt annoyed
What about trust?
I just wouldn't react that way.
But then, as a youth approached me
I had a sudden and crucial thought.
I don't want to be smashed up
and I don't want to lose these things that I've just bought.
So I crossed the street and silently
became a product of this century.

In Oct of 2008 I returned to the Jes church, the place I had grown up with my father running the folk mass choir. He had retired 12 Years previously. What was once a packed out mass full of joy and prayer, families and young couples, singles and religious, was now a quieter mass with no choir and I saddened by this.
I offered my services as a singer and musician to come and provide music for the 5:30 mass and within a few short weeks I returned to the place I consider my spiritual home.
I had not purposely set out to start a choir but people began to approach me with a desire to sing and it was a need within the community I was not Going to Ignore.
On the 12th Dec 2008 The Jes Gospel Choir was birthed with 5 singers and me & it was a wonderful experience and we received a very warm welcome. Within a year the choir grew to over 15 members and some musicians.
The wonderful thing about this choir is that it is a choir th... less
