This piece is an adventure of someone who is disconnected from himself and his environment, and undertakes a journey in total solitude, into an immense space carrying all of his uncertainties. It is that space that teaches him to find himself, to ask questions and reflect. In The process, he may get lost, but he knows that he will struggle to find The way, and ends up revealing to himself a truth that transcends him. A truth so powerful that it dazzles him. It makes him see life where he once saw loneliness. Finally, feeling at peace and harmony with himself, he finds The help of great guides who sail at his side. As The introduction states, Eric Whitacre's famous "Sleep" was originally composed to Robert Frost's "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening", but when Whitacre realized The Frost estate was not releasing permission for musical settings of The poem, Charles Silvestri wrote The poem "Sleep" around The music Whitacre had written. To honor The inspiration The poem gave Mr. Whitacre, and to furTher honor all poets who inspire choral composers, we presented this beloved piece with The original Frost lyrics.  less

Their diverse repertoire ranges from Mozart and Rutter to Take That and Snow Patrol with a good dose of musicals and Disney thrown in for good measure. The seeds of The Choir were first planted back in mid-2012 when Maddy was asked to set up a Choir to perform a small Concert at her local church near to Stratford Upon Avon. The Choir are all good friends and met in a variety of ways from oTher Choirs, bands and performing arts groups. Since Their first Concert, They have grown to become one of The best and most revered Choirs in The Midlands and have performed at countless venues from The Birmingham German Christmas Markets to Shakespeare’s Birthday Celebrations in Stratford Upon Avon to Their very first Concert in Warwick in June 2013.
