The fabulous amazing spectacular Carol Stenson is Their long standing director. South Salem took FIRST Place at Oregon's State Competition. This was Their second song of four. This whole competition took Place at George Fox University in Newburg Oregon. The South Salem Saxons also took first at Their Districts festival in Salem/Keizer Oregon. We have about 25 members currently, but we are gaining new members each year. We put on two "shows" each year to raise funds that benefit The chorus as a whole. We also perform throughout The year at various venues - retirement communities, nursing homes, churches, banquets, and oTher events.
