THE Chorale IS UNDER THE DIRECTOR OF EKE CHIJINDU FAVOUR HEDGES (COMPOSER), THE CHOIR HAVE THERE ANNUAL MUSIC CONCERT EVERY OCT/NOV YEARLY IN NIGERIA BUT SOMETIMES OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY ON INVITATIONS. Concert group counts about 60 people, mainly students, academic teachers and friends outside College. Our repertoire has about 80 a capella works (from medieval to contemporary composers), large sacred forms by Haendel, Mozart and Mendellsohn Bartholdy and 40 carols. We have performed at several festivals and international events (Germany, France, Switzerland, Bulgaria). In addition to our annual subscription series, we sing with both the National Arts Centre Orchestra and the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra . The choir has made five international tours to Italy, Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom and Ireland . Following an extensive search which attracted a roster of highly- accomplished choral directors, the impressive and charismatic young conductor and keyboard artist, Jordan de Souza, was appointed Artistic Director and Principal Conductor in July, 2013.
