It offers a unique opportunity for singers to take part in cathedral services (notably the Cathedral's monthly Compline services) concerts in the cathedral (thrice yearly), other secular events such as livery company dinners and corporate celebrations.  

Music for Soprano, Boys choir, Mixed choir and Chamber Orchestra. Primarily, the score (main part)was written for choir a cappella with optional harp and solo (flute, oboe, violin) instrument.

Each choir member has a different and wide-ranging background in solo, operatic and competitive performance, which enhances the choir’s ability to undertake some of the more challenging choral works and contributes to their fresh and unique sound. The Academy Chamber choir’s repertoire spans from early to contemporary music. Their most recent success was ranking third in “Irelands choir of the Year” at Cork International Choral Festival 2013. They then went on to win 1st place in the Early Music, 1st place in the Irish Language and 2nd place in the Sacred Music at Navan Choral Festival 2013. They were 2nd place in RTE Lyric FM’s choirs for Christmas Competition – Irelands largest choral competition featuring over 400 choirs.
