Our programme varies from stunning ma...  moreHart Voices is a mixed voice choir based in Fleet, Hampshire which achieves a high-standard of singing from a non-auditioned choir. We perform four concerts each Year across three terms running from September to July. Our programme varies from stunning major choral works to satisfying chamber music programmes and The occasional light programme of popular numbers! Singers are drawn not only from Fleet and The surrounding area, but also outlying towns including Guildford and Basingstoke. Choir membership is currently around 50 voices, many of whom have sung with The choir for several Years. The combined experience and enthusiasm enables us to explore New musical horizons - both in repertoire and venue. We aim to broaden our experience, strive for quality and musicality in our performances and involve young singers wherever possible. We are a mixed choir, putting on 3 concerts per Year; a Spring concert with a wide and varied mixture of music, an orchestral concert in The Autumn, and a charity Christmas concert. We can also be seen throughout The Year taking part in various community events; singing at The local Christmas grotto, taking part in flash mobs and singing at weddings and funerals.  less

They were under The tu...  moreEast Rand Male Symphony was established in August 1990 by The members of The Then Kenneth Masekela SSS Boys Choir after winning The TUATA National School Choir Competition in The category of Boys Choirs for The 4th successive Year. They were under The tutelage of Mojalefa Motloung. The choir is made up of members from The East Rand which is now affectionately known as Ekurhuleni. The young men who established The choir in 1990 are now responsible men taking Their place in Their communities. We currently have over 35 members of which ages range from 20 to 50. We are still under The baton of Mojalefa Motloung who also forms part of our Conductors Forum.  less

Victor Hugo's heart-wrenching 1847 poem describes a walk he plans to take tomorrow morning ("Demain, dès l'aube") through The countryside to his daughter Léopoldine's grave four Years after her tragic death in a boating accident, which also took The life of her husband Charles who had tried to save her.
