Input "Hawaii Sacred Choir" A special video is "A Hawaiian Hallelujah" We are the only King's College-type choir (with choirboys, choirgirls and adult ATBs) in Hawai'i. We have been invited by Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire, UK, to sing as "choir in residence" for a week in July 2014, taking over their choir's duties of singing 8 services that week. We are the only Hawai'i choir to belong to the Royal School of Church Music, and we use their adjudication standards to award medals which are internationally recognized by the RSCM. We sing sacred music in English, Latin, and Hawaiian. We are always looking for new choristers. Auditions are year-around, although placement occurs only in fall semester and spring semester. The work was written for His Eminence John Patrick Cardinal Foley, Grand Master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, and was premiered on the March 2011 tour of the Saint Mary's University Chamber Singers to Rome. This performance is from the choir's homecoming concert, March 17, 2011, with the composer conducting.

Le Chœur d’Enfants Sotto Voce, composé d’une soixantaine d’enfants originaires de toute la région parisienne, est une véritable « famille artistique » qui a créé en 1993 par Scott Alan Prouty et accueilli par le Théâtre du Châtelet depuis 18 ans. Considéré comme « l’un des meilleurs chœurs d’enfants en France aujourd’hui » le Chœur d’Enfants Sotto Voce est surtout connu pour l’originalité de ses prestations, ses créations et son répertoire très varié allant de la musique classique à la comédie musicale américaine en passant par le jazz et la chanson française. It was and still is a ...  moreIt was founded in the Holy Week of 1996, as a consequence of the tradition of performing in the church of Brunete (Madrid, Spain) the Responsorios of the Renaissance composer Tomás Luis de Victoria (c. 1548-1611) during that season. It was and still is a chamber choir especially interested in the polyphony of the Renaissance, and particularly in the composer it takes its name from, although the choir does also interpret works from every period. Its members’ hard work and joint enthusiasm along all these years, under the direction of Antonio Peces, crystallise in the neat blend of the voices and the sensitivity that its interpretations instill. The group provides experience and a consolidated musicality, while exploring every facet of choral music, as well as the singularity of the great masters’ art.
