The Choir presents liturgical Music either written in, or translated to, the Hebrew language. In the few years of the Choir's existence Liturgi-Kal is rapidly becoming much more visible on the Israeli Music scene due to its emphasis on excellence coupled with the superb choice of Musical partners. The Choir has worked with the Israeli Chamber orchestra, the Ensemble Barrocade and has had the honor of hosting some of Israel’s finest young singers as well as special guests from abroad.  less

We specialize in singing indidenous and folk Music Music from Ghana, West Africa, proudly exhibiting, learning and teaching our African heritage to the world. It is a Choir ensemble of about 25 people, mainly amateurs. They share an incredible passion for Music and are keen on spreading their positive singing energy. The Choir is known for its modern choral Music repertoire, consisting of songs from all over the world as well as pop Music masterpieces. The group was awarded a silver medal in pop Music category during 5th 'Music Everywhere Festival' in Gdansk in 2019. So far, the Choir has performed in several places in Poland, often the non-obvious ones, trying to make choral Music available to everyone. The Choir’s conductor, Zuzanna Popiołkiewicz, graduated from Conducting faculty at the Academy of Music in Gdansk. In 2012, as a representative of Poland, she led Music workshops for the American organization 'Singers of United Lands' in 23 US states, Canada, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Zambia. We are committed singers, who can prepare Music independently before a short intensive rehearsal series, and have opportunities...  moreIrish Doctors Choir members are enthusiastic and experienced singers, mostly, but not exclusively, doctors or medical students. We are committed singers, who can prepare Music independently before a short intensive rehearsal series, and have opportunities to perform some of the great works from the classical choral repertoire to a high standard and in exciting venues. We also enjoy singing simple Music well at smaller performances on our rehearsal weekends and at conference events. Although our performances are mostly in Ireland, we have quite a few singers from other countries, including UK, France, Germany and Sweden. During 2020, we have held online rehearsals using Zoom and produced two online concerts, raising 11,000 Euro for charity.  less

We are not associated with any particular religion or spiritual path. The Choir welcomes new members at the beginning of each season in September and February. There is no audition, and no vocal experience is required, just a desire to sing in harmony with others. Our aim is to re-integrate singing into the daily routines of life. We sing for the pure joy and pleasure it gives us, in an atmosphere that is fun, relaxed, and accepting. Our repertoire consists of both traditional and new songs from many cultures. The majority are sung a cappella (unaccompanied) in 4-part harmony. The Choir is divided into three chapters, each practicing the same material on either Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We have an outdoor Choir and baby/toddler friendly indoor Choirs. We are welcoming, friendly and relaxed with no requirement for previous experience of the ability to read Music.
