This auditioned choir has 150 adult mixed Voices and 300 youth mixed Voices rehearsing weekly to bring various masterworks, original pieces, collaborations and new arrangements to the ears of many. Doug Mears is the Artistic Director with Patrick Vaughn as Youth Director. Youth Choruses have two convenient campuses with the professional support of Caroline Crocker and Bonny Tynch and Youth Chorus Directors. Additionally, full time accompanists and music educators meet the rehearsal and music education portions of this semi-professional chorus. FCS is honored to work with renown musicians, conductors and orchestras to present the finest choral programs available. Sometimes we join other choruses to produce even larger musical works. Voices Carry is an Americana jazz-influenced vocal group based in metro Phoenix, Arizona. Most of our songs are performed a cappella, and we favor vocal jazz, but we occassionally perform with instrumental accompaniment and perform other styles.

Patrick McCarthy founded the Colchester Bach Choir in November 1992 when he agreed to train a choir to perform a baroque programme with Frederick Marshall and the Lavenham Sinfonia in Long Melford Church. The success of this project led to a charity perfo...  morePatrick McCarthy founded the Colchester Bach Choir in November 1992 when he agreed to train a choir to perform a baroque programme with Frederick Marshall and the Lavenham Sinfonia in Long Melford Church. The success of this project led to a charity performance of Messiah co-directed by Patrick and Peter Holman at the Swinburne Hall, Colchester Institute, which was part broadcast by Classic FM. Since then the choir has presented three or four concerts each Season in Colchester (usually at St. Botolph's Church), often featuring baroque music. Many of the original members still sing with the choir, which is intended for experienced choristers (members sing with other choirs and some have solo careers) who can sight read well and respond to direction, thus enabling concerts to be performed with only two or three rehearsals. ofollow">https://www.facebook.com/pages/Colchester-Bach-Choir/330623297057?ref=hl  less
