They are all amateur singers. The Choir forms part of the multi-Choir model of the University of Pretoria, the others being the UP Jacaranda Children’s Choir, UP Camerata.

The East Central University Department of Music as part of the School of Fine Arts is housed in the beautiful Hallie Brown ford Fine Arts Center. The Department has over two hundred participating students of which approximately half are Music majors. We have eighteen faculty members and are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.
