Born by a group of Singers, together with his conductor, Gianluigi Giacomoni, wanted to perform new kind of music in the city's musical scene with a wide repertoire ranging from the elaboration of popular melodies to hits of pop music and soundtracks. The choir Vox Canora sung with the OrcheStra of the "Fondazione Arturo Toscanini", with M° Ennio Morricone for his Concert in Parma, with M° Helmut Imig for the soundtrack of the film "Fratello Sole" by Luigi Mancinelli. From 2008 choral ensemble Vox canora is directed by M° Monica Lodesani whose firSt engagement has been the preparation of the Gloria di Vivaldi, in collaboration with other choruses of the city. It's members represent the multi-ethnicity of Hawaii's population and include Singers of Asian, Pacific, European and American backgrou... It's members represent the multi-ethnicity of Hawaii's population and include Singers of Asian, Pacific, European and American backgrounds. Singers from all walks of life, ranging in age from teens to octogenarians make up the membership of the group. The Chorale presents two major Concerts each year, in addition to sponsoring a Community Chorus FeStival and performing at care facilities and retirement homes. In paSt years they toured Hawaii's neighboring Islands, Europe, Japan and China and are planning a trip to Ireland in the future. Founded in 1951 by the late Richard S. Eaton, RES has played a leading role in Edmonton’s cultural community for more than six decades. In addition to presenting its own Concerts, the choir is a regular gueSt of the Edmonton Symphony OrcheStra, and collaborates frequently with other Edmonton ensembles, including the Alberta Baroque Ensemble in this performance. It has also collaborated with other Canadian choirs in the paSt, including the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus, the Vancouver Bach Choir and the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir. This paSt summer RES embarked on a two week tour of Germany, highlighted by performances at the St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, where Bach was KapellmeiSter for much of his career.
