The only thing we really knew about him was that he had lived a fairly miserable life. My friend told me how she and two other women had once helped a dying man by holding his feet, letting him know that it was safe to let go. We are sad that we are currently unable to stage live concerts and engage professional musicians to play with us. These musicians, who are largely self-employed, have been especially hard hit by the Covid-19 restrictions. For our next Virtual concert in the Spring we hope to employ some and we are seeking donations to help make that happen. In addition, 50% of your donations will be passed directly to Help Musicians Scotland, a charity providing help, support and opportunities to empower musicians at all stages of their lives.
