ABOUT THE CHOIR: Since 2009, the CWU Chamber choir has held annual recording sessions to create videos specifically designed for YouTube. All are under the baton of Dr. Gary A. Weidenaar, who has been the director of the choir since 2006. As of Fall, 2016; there are 26 videos. Die fließenden Rhythmen in Christina Georgina Rossettis Gedicht führen wie von selbst zu einer melodischen Vertonung. Die Sopran- und Tenorstimmen wechseln sich ab, indem sie jeweils die Melodie der Strophen 1 bzw. 2 singen, während die anderen Stimmen beschwingt und jazzig begleiten. The band sings mainly sacral, including orthodox music, but also contemporary and folk. The choir has rich concert activity in the country and abroad and with great success has participated in many choral contests and festivals. The ensemble performed hundreds of concerts and presented its skills at competitions and festivals in Germany, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary and many others. The choir has recorded a few CDs: "Bogoroditse Devo, Raduisya" from 2008, "Musica Sacra" from 2013, "Canticum Canticorum" from 2017.
