We strive to create a Musically inspiring, spiritually stirring experience for our patrons. From historically informed performance of early Music to meticulously prepared classical works to the most exciting current sacred compositions, Te Deum presents beautiful Music in stunning settings. Te Deum was founded by Matthew Christopher Shepard in 2008 to fulfill an expressed need by both singers and audiences in the Kansas City area to present sacred choral Music concerts of the highest quality. The Te Deum Chamber Choir performed its first concert in spring 2009. Since then, the chamber Choir has built an impressive and varied repertoire that spans centuries of time and wide ranges of composition style. We are a medium size Choir of about 50 members who perform classical Music, mainly baroque, classical and 20th century periods. We give several major concerts each year, mostly in Wellington.

Formed in November 2005, the Choir has performed around England, Wales, parts of France and Germany. Members of the Choir also run a training Choir to train other Choirs to perform Gospel Music. The small training Choir is able to travel anywhere. To da...  moreFormed in November 2005, the Choir has performed around England, Wales, parts of France and Germany. Members of the Choir also run a training Choir to train other Choirs to perform Gospel Music. The small training Choir is able to travel anywhere. To date they have travelled to Cornwall, Devon, Derbyshire, Wales, France and Germany. The whole Choir is Mixed, with approximately 50 singers and performs around 30 times a year. Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on the west coast of the Thermaic Gulf and in the shadow of Olympus. The Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, the character and the main concept of both parts is joining Music, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of the Festival is to bring the Music closer to the people and to present the Music on the streets and the squares of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini. All Choir ensembles, regardless of the members’ gender and age can apply for participation at the Festival.  less
