The Capital Hearings are a mixed a Cappella vocal Ensemble based in Washington, DC. We perform a wide variety of music including classical favorites, jazz standards and contemporary pop arrangements.

All performances are from memory, delivering carefully-structured, semi-choreographed programmes. Repertoire encompasses jazz, show tunes and folk songs as well as opera and the classical repertoire. Members include fellows and alumnae of Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge, as well as singers drawn from the wider community.
