First and foremost, its name is closely associated with its first conductor Artūrs Bobkovics (1885-1959), who already then had become "the king of Latvian symphonic music". He organized the concerts of symphonic music and helped promote them. Leaves so dainty fine
Freshly gathered, dewy shine,
And glitter in the light, glitter in the light.
From Kadusa's lofty pinetree
Waving, on the height, on the height. less
