Choir members have included opera singers, circus stage managers and women whose boldest performances have been behind a shower curtain. The Choir’s musical director, Elaine Chan, is an acclaimed composer and a musical Theatre icon in Singapore. She has played a prominent role in guiding The Choir in singing its eclectic repertoire of pop, Broadway numbers, classical choral, and even African chants and gypsy wedding songs. nůmama has its beginnings as a moTher and baby group in 2009, and has since grown into a Choir for all women.
