(Www.africanyouthChoir.org) This biennial project is organizing a technical course with cultural exchange during a Summer camp for two weeks in an African country. Then the Choir is prepared to perform in major events in Africa, or to represent Africa in major festivals included in the global agenda of choral singing. The desire is to gather young singers from around Africa for integration through song, to enrich their cultural diversity, to to become messengers of peace on the continent and throughout the world, but also a model of multiculturalism. 40 singers from 10 african countries are selected after testing (16 to 26 years old) and work with an experienced conductor. We are an SATB Choir of between 40 & 50 singers. We perform a wide range of sacred and secular Choir Music at 3 concerts a year, in Ealing. Experienced singers are very welcome.

The main activities of the Choir are finding the new ways to Music, its expresion and presenting new ideas, cooperation with composers and many professional Musicians. Now, the Choir Mūza is making a new image and wants to show multiplicity of the Choir Music. In its programs the Choir performes modern Music and a big part is left of Latvian classical Music as well as traditional Latvian folk-Music. The Choir Mūza was established in 1947. Its founder and leader through out many years has been maestro Leonids Vigners (1906-2001). In 1999 the Choir transferred into new direction and it became a youth Choir.
