Our project El Otro en la Sociedad Criolla focused on compositions on the issues of minority groups discriminated against during the colony, such as indigenous peoples, blacks, gypsies and the disabled. We love Music in Spanish and the native languages ​​of Spanish America. We love creating theater from these themes.

We typically begin the class by Integrating body, mind and soul through stretches, breathing and movement so that we are totally relaxed and ready to sing and play ! We have the opportunity through the classes to hone our technical skills by learning about Musical composition and Vocal technique !  less

Led by Mrs. Joy Clayton, the Athens Drive High School Choirs perform a range of Musical pieces varying from classical to folk to pop. Our favorite composer, and the one whose pieces we most love to perform, is Eric Whitacre.
