The renowned Toronto Jazz Orchestra (TJO) and the Juno award-winning Toronto Mass Choir (TMC) join together in this historic collaboration. The production will feature this 40-voice Gospel Choir and 18-piece Jazz Orchestra along with special guest vocalists Patricia Shirley, Renee Rowe, Chardon Myers, rapper Terrence Penny, dancer Shawn Byfield and students from the Regent Park School of Music. A night to remember, "Gospel & Jazz: A Family Reunion" will celebrate the many historical and musical connections between these two popular genres. This song is based on a charactheristic rythm of the northern region of Argentina, Bolivia and Perú known by the name of Huayno with an interlude of a Yaraví, another rythm of the same region.  

We are a newly formed Ensemble of women's voices from Canterbury in Kent. Our repertoire ranges from classical motet to Jazz and female barbershop. We perform on a regular basis across Kent and have on going partnership links with choirs in the UK and France.
