The choir sings each sunday and on special occasion in the different churches of Cannes. It also sings 4 to 6 Concerts a year, sometimes with an orcheStra. His repertory covers all the sacred music from gregorian chant to 21St century. Among the laSt maSterworks done in Concert with an orcheStra are Requiem (Saint-Saens), Stabat Mater (Haydn), Vesperae Solennes de Confessore (Mozart), Gallia (Gounod), etc. New members are welcome. That is why La SeStina often performs with crossover arts on a main theme e.g. French Renaissance chansons in 16th century clothes with an actress, a cappella sacred contemporary music with dancers and video projection, Baroque French music with chamber orcheStra and a lecturer, medieval Spanish music with mediterranean ensemble of lutes and percussions, etc. Also, the choir aims at supporting humanitarian and social actions by offering one or several Concerts each year.
