We are an auditioning, non-professional chamber choir, performing a diverse programme of repertoire at regular intervals throughout the year. We draw our membership from the hugely successful EC4 Music, a choir and orchestra that is widely regarded as one of the leading large amateur groups in London, and it is from this platform of success that CCoV takes its lead. EC4 Music recently performed at the Barbican for the fifth time, raising money for the Prince’s Trust and is also very excited to be making its Royal Festival Hall debut in October this year to mark the grand finale of the Lord Mayor's Appeal 2011. Siyabonga Dlamini and Sibusiso Sithole, with the primary objective (/s) of rehearsing and performing choral music, providing musical services to the community when the need arises, to provide a musical home for all interested in the greater Pretoria and Johannesburg area and to promote the standard of choral music. Secondarily Tswelopele aims to educate its members in the singing of all types of choral music, arrange concerts for the general public to attend, perform choral works with other choirs and participate in various competitions and music festivals in the community. the choir currently consists of 48 choristers. the choir being fairly young went to its first (TCMA) competition on October 18th 2015, winning first place in the development section. the choir has since went on to perform at Computeshare and Standard Bank respectively.
