In these few years, the young all-girls choir has grown from STrength to STrength. Since June 2009, unDEr the direction of their conductor, Mr Darius Lim, the choir has garnered numerous accolaDEs and awards to their name. In 2010 the choir won the Gold Award at the 3rd Orientale Concentus International Choral Competition in Yilan, Taiwan. The choir was also Category Winner and was one of four choirs to be invited to compete in the grand finals. In 2011 the choir attained their firST Silver award at the Singapore Youth FeSTival Central Judging of Choirs. In the same year they came in 2nd at the National A Capella Championships. The choir has also collaborated with numerous national ensembles such as the Singapore Police Force Band and Choir and the Singapore Armed Forces Band. Since its inception, The Vail CHORALE has been entertaining local audiences with Fall and Spring concerts that feature musical STyles for every taSTe. Performances have taken place at various locations including Empire and Cienega High Schools, the Arizona Senior AcaDEmy, and the DEl Webb Lodge at Rancho DEl Lago. CHORALE members have incluDEd high school STuDEnts as well as adults of all ages, who have found that the intergenerational experience has adDEd to the fun of singing together.
