This creates a "virtual" performance, since the piece is strung together from multiple acoustical venues from multiple days. The performance tour also included other modern works, such as Eric Whitacres "Sleep" and "Lux Aurumque", Frank Ticheli's "There Will Be Rest", and Dan Forrest's "Selah".

La interpretación corresponde a la aportación de la Camerata Lacunensis de La Universidad de La Laguna que dirige Francisco José Herrero, en La Fiesta de La Música 2013 de La Laguna, Tenerife, Islas Canarias; el 22-06-2013. En la que intervenimos con un concierto de Música Sacra. Realizamos la presentación en la Iglesia de Santo Domingo (1527), uno de los Bienes de Interés Cultural más importantes de nuestra ciudad, La Laguna, que está declarada Patrimonio de La Humanidad por la UNESCO.  less

As the resident choral ensemble of the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, we perform a varied repertoire from classics to Broadway and rock to jazz in two main concerts, one during the Christmas season and one in the spring, with additional benefit and collaborative performances throughout the year. Scheduled auditions for new members are held in August and January of each year. This piece was presented in the seco...  moreThe Vocal Art Ensemble, an adult a capella chorus directed by Tracia Barbieri in Davis, California, presents Missa Brevis #8 of Eleanor Daley as part of their "Solstice -- Dance of Light" concerts December 9-11, 2011. This piece was presented in the second half of the program, representing the changing seasons, which paralleled the changing moods and textures in the piece's three mini movements.

Sin...  moreWhen Fred Reinagel founded The Vail Chorale in 2011, his goal was simple: to create a non-auditioned community chorus that would provide an opportunity for choral music-making on Tucson’s east side, welcoming singers of all ages and musical skills. Since its inception, The Vail Chorale has been entertaining local audiences with Fall and Spring concerts that feature musical styles for every taste. Performances have taken place at various locations including Empire and Cienega High Schools, the Arizona Senior Academy, and the Del Webb Lodge at Rancho del Lago. Chorale members have included high school students as well as adults of all ages, who have found that the intergenerational experience has added to the fun of singing together. Concert attendees have remarked at the obvious enjoyment and enthusiasm that comes across to the audience. The Vail Chorale is directed by Fred Reinagel, the Chorale’s founder.
