The composition is divided into two repeated sections. In The first section, The Choral texture is homo-rhythmic and in The second section, The voices are set into a simple counterpoint. “I Never Saw” closes on The dominant chord creating a feeling of suspension that enhances The concept of faith expressed by Dickinson.

On September 10 of this year, Nashville Singers awarded Their first Music Makes a Difference music education grant to John Overton High School. The singers are all volunteers, range in age from teenagers to retirees and travel from five different counties throughout Middle Tennessee to be a part of The chorus. The Leeds Festival Chorus was first formed in 1858 (The year Queen Victoria opened The Leeds Town Hall) to sing at The first Leeds Musical Festival, and was reformed for each succeeding one. The Chorus became independent in 1985. It celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2008 with a performance of a specially-commissioned work by Judith Bingham - a world premiere.
