Sumite psalmum, et date tympanum;
psalterium jucundum cum cithara.
Buccinate in neomenia tuba,
in insigni die solemnitatis vestræ.
Sing joyfully to God our strength;
sing loud unto the God of Jacob!
Take the song, bring forth the timbrel,
the pleasant harp, and the viol.
Blow the trumpet in the New moon,
at the time appointed for your feast day.
Sung at Canterbury Cathedral during our Royal School of Church Music Summer Course in 1986, under Martin How.
I (David W Solomons) was one of the altos.
John Huntley - a fellow alto - recorded this performance. less

Min'ko, Y.Taranchenko, G.Kulyaba, V. Mal'cev, P.Muravskyi, V.Skoromnyi. Because of high-level artistic traditions and many professional performances, Choir became a treasure of independent Ukraine.
At the present time Yuliya Tkach is an artistic director and main bandleader of the Academic choir of Ukrainian radio. For over 80 years, Choir has created a unique records collection, which is considered to be the «Gold fund» of Ukraine. This collection includes the works of the world-known composers: V. Mozard, L. Beethoven, G. Verdi, J.Brams, P. Tchaikovsky, S. Rachmaninov, D. Shostakovich, B. Lyatoshynskiy, D. Bortnyanskiy, ... less

Romulo as President of the University of the Philippines. Through its 50 years of existence, the group has metamorphosed from being a simple university chorale into a musical force of national and world stature.
Aside from its undeniable musical prowess and versatility in performing Classical, Filipino folk, pop, and Broadway genres—all with ease, the Concert Chorus is also recognized as the pioneer of choreographed song for a choir. This innovation was started by the late Dean Reynaldo T. Paguio in 1969, and flourished under top choreographers like Edru Abraham, Gener Caringal, Tony Fabella, Edna Vida, Sonia Domingo, Steve Villaruz, Rene Hofileña, Ianne Damian, Paul Morales, Allan Samonte, and Ernest Hojilla, to name a few. With current artistic and musical director Prof. Janet Sabas-Aracama, the UP Concert Chorus goes beyond the typical choir performance style through choral art forms ... less
