Our director is Linda Corcoran who also directs the current UK Champions ‘ The Great Western Chorus of Bristol’. We are actively recruiting new members and have ambitions for national and international performance. Almost all of our members are also in other Choirs and 'the Feds' rehearse together only once per month on average, so it is possible to stay with your current Choir and with us.

Every day I think of her because she was a Great angel in my career. She opened the doors to Europe for me and helped me a lot to grow my career. She was also the musical godmother of hundreds of people to whom with Epilogi she gave education and showed them a passion. She organized festivals that boosted the culture of choral music in Europe and also did everything with unparalleled energy and joy. With a Great sense of fun and a unique style of entertainment, the chorus has gripped audiences during its history of 34 years. Our close knit membership of nearly sixty guys has a strong commitment to vocal and performance excellence. Cottontown particularly enjoy competing in both national and international barbershop competitions. Well respected stages around the UK including the London Palladium have given us the opportunity to wow audiences with stirring harmonies, emotional lyrics, exciting choreography and visual effects. Student membership includes students from all disciplines that love to sing and enjoy camaraderie through Great music. It is intended to provide a foundation in area of vocal technique while achieving a high standard of excellence in repertoire selected from all periods and musical styles. This ensemble is offered every fall and spring semester.

Psalms 39:24 The year started with bright hope for a promising Great year, yet the treat of a deadly virus lingered in our ears. In February, COVID caused some concern in America as people were being warned of the implications the virus could bring when it came from overseas. By March, our government told us we needed to stay home as the virus was deadly to all age groups and almost impossible to avoid. Most necessities, like toilet paper and cleaning products, were gone from the shelves of all stores making people worry how fighting this treat would be possible. Throughout the country, several people offered to help neighbors, friends, and family as they self-quarantined and socially distanced from each, as we were told it was our best defense against the upcoming pandemic. During quarantine, some people started riots for an unrelated cause, Black Lives Matter. This movement has an ongoing struggle in our nation as the group battles f...    less
