In the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'World CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning ... is).getParent().getNext().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">moreisplay:none;">In the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'World CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning 2 more gold medals in 'Grand Prix of Choral Music' the champions competed in, the choir has come back to Turkey with a total of 5 gold medals. To raise awareness of Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of Dementia, and to raise money for Alzheimer's Society UK, Homechoir singers around the World learned Kirby Shaw's amazing arrangement of Bart Howard's Fly Me To the Moon and recorded themselves s... is).getParent().getNext().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">moreisplay:none;">To raise awareness of Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of Dementia, and to raise money for Alzheimer's Society UK, Homechoir singers around the World learned Kirby Shaw's amazing arrangement of Bart Howard's Fly Me To the Moon and recorded themselves singing it at home. Homechoir's sound engineers mixed all of the voices into a combined choir and this is the fantastic result. the Choir raised more than £2.5k for Alzheimer's Society.
