MGC travelled widely in Europe and had a high standard. In 2003, we changed our name to Manx Voices. We love singing to community groups, in church services and concerts. We compete in our local music festivals and have sung on stage with Blake. We are a very democratic, mutually supportive group of women ranging in age from 10 to 70!

The group would like to promote their vast repertoire ...  moreFounded in 2001 by Cyrille Rault-Gregorio, the choir of the “Chambre Arthémys” is comprised of 18 singers chosen especially for their vocal and musical talents. These singers also perform as soloists. The group would like to promote their vast repertoire of singing ‘a cappella’ (without instruments) pieces from 16th to 21st century and their different styles. As well as being accompanied by orchestral ensembles, the choir often work with notable composers (Lucian Tuguy, Thibault Maillé, Jean-Christophe Marti…) who help to create the musical pieces. Ranging from traditional concerts to original and artistic experiences, the choir is always seeking to give value to all of the creative initiatives. In 2006, the choir collaborated with dancers from the Paris Opera House for the ballet of Stéphane Elizabé, “de l'Autre côté à l'amphithéâtre Bastille” (From the other side of the Bastille Amphitheatre). Our programme varies from stunning ma...  moreHart Voices is a mixed voice choir based in Fleet, Hampshire which achieves a high-standard of singing from a non-auditioned choir. We perform four concerts each year across three terms running from September to July. Our programme varies from stunning major choral works to satisfying chamber music programmes and the occasional light programme of popular numbers! Singers are drawn not only from Fleet and the surrounding area, but also outlying towns including Guildford and Basingstoke. Choir membership is currently around 50 VOICES, many of whom have sung with the choir for several years. The combined experience and enthusiasm enables us to explore new musical horizons - both in repertoire and venue. We aim to broaden our experience, strive for quality and musicality in our performances and involve young singers wherever possible. It is about a mystical tribe of desert women who would stamp their feet into the dust creating beautiful clouds. Light would shine through and create patterns and rainbows. Men would be attracted by these clouds and come to the women's camp. The Wirindji women would cook for them, mate with them then kill them and eat them!
