This auditioned Choir has 150 adult mixed voices and 300 Youth mixed voices rehearsing weekly to bring various masterworks, original pieces, collaborations and new arrangements to The ears of many. Doug Mears is The Artistic Director with Patrick Vaughn as Youth Director. Youth Choruses have two convenient campuses with The professional support of Caroline Crocker and Bonny Tynch and Youth Chorus Directors. Additionally, full time accompanists and music educators meet The rehearsal and music education portions of this semi-professional chorus. FCS is honored to work with renown musicians, conductors and orchestras to present The finest Choral programs available. Sometimes we join oTher choruses to produce even larger musical works. The MVHS Chamber Singers were invited to perform at The Western Division American Choral Directors Association in Tucson, Arizona. Then in March 2011, Chamber Singers performed at The ACDA national conference in Chicago, Illinois.

Membership is open to anyone with or without Choral experience. We aim for high standards, and of course strong singers are always valued – but you don’t have to be able to read music, and There are no auditions. The age range of members stem from 20 to over 70 so There is room for everyone. If you’re not sure which voice part you are Then Christopher Wray, our Musical Director, can help you with this. The Choir performs three public Concerts each year, at Easter, in The Summer and at Christmas. We also support The local communities by singing at various events and this includes raising funds for charities. Each year we also sing away from London which combines singing to anoTher community, or combining a performance with Their Choir, with a fun day out.
