With members graduated from Hong Kong traditional schools like Diocesan Boys’ School, Belilios Public School, St. Paul’s Coeducation College, Ying Wa Girls’ School, St. Stephen’s Girls’ College, St. Paul’s College, Wah Yan College Kowloon, and also universities like The Hong Kong University and The Chinese University, The group was immediately invited by The HKSAR government to a celebration performance in early July 2010. The group also presented a standard professional program of sacred music in its first concert “Inspiratio” in August 2010, and a Themed concert, featuring a range of masterpieces of Chinese Choral music,「聲．華」in August 2011, which won critical acclaim from local music conductors, composers and musicians. The Choir is composed of 16-20 singers from all majors who perform a variety of music, from classical, to folk, to contemporary jazz. Members of The Wesleyan Chorale also perform in The Wesleyan Singers, an open-enrollment ensemble that performs a variety of music while developing vocal technique and musicianship skills.
