Audio performance by Rosthern Junior College Chorale 2003. Chorale is a 38 voice mixed Choir of 15-17 year olds from RJC, a small (circa 100) school in the middle of the Canadian Prairies.

The Stockton Chorale is an umbrella organization which hosts six Choirs. Three adult groups (auditioned and non-auditioned) and three youth groups (auditioned). See our website for more information.

Members of the Choir are auditioned, multi-generational, and range in age from 17 to senior citizens. Performance music includes a wide variety of musical styles. Performances take place in local churches, theaters, etc. The Chorale programs two rehearsal and concert seasons each year. Artistic Director & Conductor Jan Lanterman and Associate Conductor Jason Nett conduct rehearsals and performances.

The objective was to bring about musical performances (of choral works by foreign and Nigerian composers) of sufficiently high standard for international consumption, within the limitations of national resources. The CHORALE which has grown in size to over 100 singers has given numerous concerts in Lagos and other towns in Nigeria, including Aba, Abakaliki, Abeokuta, Abuja, Benin, Calabar, Eket, Enugu, Ibadan, Ife, Nsit Atai, Oko, Owerri, Port Harcourt, Umuahia and Uyo.
