There is an equal e...  moreVox Virorum is a community men's choral ensemble for the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill region of North Carolina. Goals are to create a Place for men to hone and renew their love of singing, and to provide a home in the choral community. There is an equal emphasis on musical excellence and camaraderie. Male singers age 18 and up, of all experience levels are invited to join.

Bandits ambush others on the road. They get wealth, but they stay in one Place. Lovers keep moving, never the same, not for a second! What Makes others grieve, they enjoy! When they look angry, don't believe their faces. It's spring lightning, a joke before the rain. They chew thorns thoughtfully along with pasture grass. Gazelle and lioness, having dinner. Love is invisible except here, in us. Sometimes I praise love; sometimes love praises me. Love, a little shell somewhere on the ocean floor, opens its mouth. All sessions run from 1pm to 4pm, and are being held at Phoenix Community Centre, Brighton, BN2 9ND (except 08/11/2015) I am running five sessions. Everyone is welCome, and no previous singing experience is necessary. Each session will introduce new songs, as well as continuing to work on a core repertoire. Performance by the Mansfield University Concert Choir conducted by Peggy Dettwiler at the 2014 World Choir Games in Riga, Latvia. They won a gold medal and third Place in the Mixed Youth Choir Category.

The event had a picnic character and took Place on June 16 in the evening in the courtyard with fountains in front of the Main Building of the Gdańsk University of Technology. The program includes works by Georg Friedrich Handel performed by the Baroque orchestra and academic choirs from Gdańsk and Kraków, as well as a fireworks show. The concert repertoire includes pieces by George Frideric Handel, such as the coronation anthem "Zadok the Priest" and "My Heart is Inditing", "Water Music" and "Music for the Royal Fireworks" were performed. The music scene was set on the stairs in front of the Main Building. The musical side of the evening was made more attractive by the fireworks show, which accompanied the performance of the last part of "Music for the Royal Fireworks".  less
