Since 2012 the group has been performed multiple concerts including a performance on the MPR stage at the Minnesota State Fair, The Schubert Club featuring music by Minnesota composer Edie Hill, and featured on MPR's Regional Spotlight. The name Academy of Voices expresses our commitment to a life of learning and our advocacy for the continuation of the arts in young people’s lives. Since then, we've been growing in quality, number of singers, range of repertory, and we've won two national awards in Spain in choir contests. We like to touch the audience with our style. We are a newly formed ensemble of women's Voices from Canterbury in Kent. Our repertoire ranges from classical motet to jazz and female barbershop. We perform on a regular basis across Kent and have on going partnership links with choirs in the UK and France.
