Sessions run on Tuesdays 5:30-7pm during term time, a length of 12 weeks. Open to anyone (age 8+ to adult) with a love of musical theatre, the group works on excelling in musical theatre singing, good vocal techniques and harmony work. Movement and/or acting plays a part, with plenty of opportunities for solo and small group singing if desired.

Anchored in the belief of uplifting the appreciation of
choral singing and music in the community, it focuses in
creating an environment of musical connoisseurship and
in becoming ambassadors of music from the city to the
world.
A wide array of repertoire includes classic to modern
among others. It seeks to promote the appreciation of
chorale music and chorale singing in Malabon City. The
group commits at serving God, Country, and Community.

– Black History Month Background
Union Chapel is a historic church based in Islington with a small but enthusiastic congregation looking to expand our horizons. It is well known as an iconic music venue attracting major artists. It is also a centre for social justice and community activities.
In recent years, the church has been developing music in our Sunday services with a range of genres, classical, jazz, gospel, and world music. The church has also created several unique events led by our musicians. These have included our annual Christmas Candlelight service, Good Friday evening performances and smaller events to commemorate such occasions as Black History Month, a remembrance event in the Covid pandemic. Besides the usual church Festivals, we also have special services for Refugee Week, Gay Pride, Holocaust Memorial, and other special commemorations.
