The University choir of Colorado Christian University performs Stanford Scriven's composition, Christ the Appletree, under the direction of Dr. Frank F. Eychaner. The work was recorded at Denver Colorado's landmark St. Paul's Lutheran Church in April 2012.

The choir was founded in 1982 by José Firmino, actually is led by conductor and composer Paulo Bernardino (1973). The choir participates each year in about two dozens of concerts, in Portugal and abroad.
