Recorded live on April 27, 2013, on the Downtown Disney Stage at the Walt Disney World Resort in in Orlando, Florida. Performed by the Lyric Choir ensemble of the Girl Choir of South Florida. Artistic Director: Wallis Peterson, Accompanist: Susan Dodd. A law was made a distant moon ago here: July and August cannot be too hot. And there's a legal limit to the snow here In Camelot. The winter is forbidden till December And exits March the second on the dot. By order, summer lingers through September In Camelot. Camelot! Camelot! Our home is in heaven, this is a promise, So say yes to salvation." Part of the winter Singing Safari concert, Ipswich 2013. From the singing of the Soweto Gospel Choir, arranged by Chris Rowbury. This concert was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and all songs are taught and learnt by ear. Usually eight songs are learnt in six two-hour sessions and in the winter are performed at St. Peters by the Waterfront, Ipswich. http://chrisrowbury.com  less

He organized the concerts of symphonic music and helped promote them. For the first time, the choir came together in the evening of October 18, when about 90 students gathered at Riga Secondary School No 2. The testing of voices was not very strict, and of the entire enthusiastic crowd only one student was rejected. Then, for a month, rehearsals were held, in which the voices of would-be singers were trained and made to keep in tune. After that another testing was held. This time the competition was much stricter, and only 40 singers were selected. That was the beginning of "Latvia University Student Choir", which, on November 24, 1920, was recognized and affirmed by the University Council as the first official choir of the n...    less
