Musical genres performed by the Chorus include Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century, 21st Century, spirituals, pop, rock, R&B, and jazz. Music from every music epoch will be performed from serious to more pop/contemporary a cappella forms. This Ensemble is offered every fall and spring semester, and satisfies the fine arts requirement when enrolled for a minimum of three semesters.  

World premiere performance of Agnus Dei by Chris Artley, given in August 2015 by the Metropolitan Chorus of Tokyo conducted by Ko Matsushita. Agnus Dei won 3rd prize in the 1st Japan International Choral Composition Competition 2015.

It has given guest performances at festivals, events, and venues such as Vienna’s Konzerthaus and Musikverein, Styriarte, Osterklang Wien (Easter Music Festival, Vienna), Salzburg Festival „Pfingsten+Barock,“ Bruckner Festival, Linz, Chamber Music Festival Lockenhaus, and Music Festival Grafenegg. It also performs regularly at the Jeunesse (Musikalische Jugend Österreichs) concert series in Vienna and has formed a special partnership with this institution.
