The Chorus sings a wide repertoire of music drawn from classical, pop, musical theatre and folk as well as the more traditional welsh hymns that are often expected! ​Since it was established, the choir has raised many thousands of pounds for charitable causes over the years.​ We rehearse at the Craven Arms Community Centre every Monday evening at 7:30pm, with the exception of bank holidays, January, and August.  less

Written in 1984 as a hopeful tune for the musical The Rise and Follies of Cape Breton Island during a severe economic downturn, it begins: When the waves roll on over the waters And the ocean cries We look to our sons and daughters To explain our lives As if a child could tell us why That as sure as the sunrise As sure as the sea As sure as the wind in the trees We rise again in the faces of our children We rise again in the waves out on the ocean And we rise again.... It was founded in 1936 as the Dow male Chorus with membership from the men of the Dow Chemical Company. In 1961, Dow discontinued its Music Department and the chorus became the Men of Music and along with the rest of the Dow Music Department formed The Music Society under director Ted Vosburgh. Since then there were several women directors who continued to lead the chorus. The Men of Music continues today providing excellant men's four part harmony with our present very talented director, Grace Marra, who joined the chorus in 1994. We also appreciate the talents of Laurie Habedank who serves as our accompanist.  less
