This classic Motown tune was a hit at Chor Leoni's Bard Boyz performances (June 2011). the arrangement is by Keith Sinclair (who is also in the backup dance quartet) and the soloist is second Tenor, Jordan Back.

Toetsenist Leo Gerritse maakt onze begeleidingen, assisteert bij de repetities en speelt met ons mee tijdens optredens. Elke maandagavond repeteren wij in het dorpshuis in Spijk. Van 20.00-22.00 uur oefenen we nieuwe nummers, herhalen we oudere nummers en werken we aan onze uitstraling en beweging.  less

He conducts this performance of his work "the Annunciation", scored for solo soprano and unaccompanied chorus. the work depicts the revelation to the Virgin Mary by the Angel Gabriel that she will conceive a son to be the saviour of humankind. the Giovanni Consort is a chamber vocal ensemble based in Perth, Western Australia. the group performs a wide range of choral music from medieval to modern times and is renowned for its exquisite musicianship and attention to detail. This video was recorded at their December 2012 concert, "Hodie Christus" in the Dining Hall of St. George's College at the University of Western Australia.
