The "plena" became very popular among sugar-cane workers at plantations in the coastal regions. This arrangement reflects a more modern interpretation of the plena with the use of the piano as accompaniment, taking rhythmic motives from salsa rythm, and the voices in the interlude imitating the trumpets and Double bass from a salsa band.

Our choir is made of amateur singers WHO love to make music. The conductor Zafer Gökçer has been conducting the choir since 2011. we love to sing classical, Turkish pop, jazz and folk music. Anyone WHO love to sing in a mixed choir is wellcome to our choir.
