The Choir promotes European and Croatian Musical heritage giving concerts both home and outside Zagreb, but also enjoys performing classical Music to the audience that does not tend to go to cultural events. Since 2007, the Choir has been conducted by Ms. Elena Konovalova. Under her guidance, the Choir won first place at Zagreb Singing Choirs Competition 2012, in Vocal Ensembles category. Don't throw away your shot to join us in our milestone 25th season, including songs from Hamilton, Coldplay and Dear Evan Hansen! Are you a legal professional who's looking for a fresh way to connect with your Musical interests and like-minded legal eagles while giving back meaningfully to our community? The 80+ voice New York City Bar Chorus ("CBC") will conduct a limited number of auditions (brief, private and low-pressure), with primary focus on baritones, basses and high sopranos, for our fall 2017 cycle. We rehearse about three Tuesday evenings per month, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, in midtown Manhattan to produce what listeners describe as a professional-quality sound, spanning Musical theater, jazz, pop/rock, Gospel and classical styles.
