We sing music from The early 1900's through to more modern songs such as Billy Joel, The Rat Pack etc. The Chorus focuses on improving singing techniques and making chords "ring" while at The same time simply having fun. We love it when a 4 part chord is correctly tuned and The chord just locks togeTher and harmonics (or overtones) ring out loud and strong. We compete every year in local contest as a mean of measuring our progress against similar groups but we just love to perform for The public and so our contest activities are very well balanced with public performance. We also have a great time togeTher as one of our goals is to provide a place where men can gaTher and enjoy Their interest in singing. The Harbour Capital Chorus was formed in Wellington on February 4th, 1988 following pioneering work by The “Co-ordinated Chemists” Quartet for several years prior to that. The Adlibitum Chorus is The official university choir of Batangas State University in The Philippines consisting of College students and alumni members. The Adlibitum Chorus is one of The oldest and active choirs of Batangas dating back from 1980 to present.

During The tenure of Principal Major Harry L. Reed The Choir won The prestigious R. Meaden Shield(Senior) for Singing for 10 successive years from 1920 to 1931, once with a perfect score of 200/200. The College AnThem ‘School of our FaThers’, composed by Principal Reed made its debut at this competition on The 13th day of July, 1928 and to this day takes responsibility of preserving The College AnThem. The Choir was trained by Mrs. Reed with The support of Robert C. Edwards, Esq. The Choir today continues to sing at many major events in and out of College, The most significant out of which being The Annual Carol Service. It is currently trained by The eminent Ms. Sureka Amerasinghe.  less

This auditioned mixed voice adult choir performs a an impressive repertoire of music ranging from symphonic classical to modern favourites under The direction of Maestro, David Holler. Uniquely, The Chorus is backed by its own "Concert Players Orchestra" and is a non-profit corporation operating in partnership with The Media Studies Program at Fanshawe College. This organization has achieved its world class status through its adherence to excellence, and The diligence of individual choristers and continues to grow in quality each season. The London Fanshawe Symphonic Chorus organization is also a two time winner of The Ontario Lieutenant-Governor's Award for The Arts for fiscal responsibility and innovative programming.  less
