Its repertoire consists of Negro spirituals and African songs, as well as interesting part interpretations of pop and soul songs. The Choir often performs at social events and Zagreb City events for tourists, and also regularly participates in domestic, national and international choral events, festivals and competitions.

The Chorus specializes in the performance of Negro spirituals and is dedicated to its preservation as well as the performance of works by African American composers. The CSCC also maintains a liberal helping of standard classical music in its repertoire. Its members come from all walks of life, unified by their mutual love of great music. This award-winning ensemble has performed numerous times on radio, presented its own television “Special” on the statewide educational television network, as well as appearances on local TV stations. This past Christmas, the CSCC’s 2015 Community Celebration of Christmas was broadcast on public television WGTE. Les Chantres Musiciens’ repertoire is both varied and complex, comprising a range of works from the Romantic period (including Mendelssohn, Schubert, Schumann, and Brahms) to Post-Romantic and modern compositions (including, for example, Schafer, Reger, Schönberg, and Langlais). The ensemble has earned a reputation for excellence, confirmed by prizes at national and international competitions, tours, and several distinguished recordings. Their first tour brought them through Germany and France, garnering critical and public acclaim, particularly at the Festival de Musique de Moselle.
