Synopsis
Looking for home is a choral work that explores the longing for belonging, the need for refuge, and the search for a place, real or symbolic, that we can call home. Written amid travels across the world and shaped by an unexpected love story, the piece touches on deeply human themes such as the sense of belonging, the construction of identity, and the need for community. It doesn’t offer a single answer to the question “What is home?”, but it does trace, with honesty and sensitivity, the path of someone brave enough to begin the search. Ideal for concert programs exploring themes of belonging, humanity, or inner renewal, Looking for home invites each singer to connect with their own story. less
