To date they have given over 1500 local youngsters vocal coaching and experience of professional-standard live performance. WYV is run by a team of experienced volunteers who give their time freely to be able to pass this experience on - the team consists of two primary school teachers, two doctors and a critical care nurse! Warwickshire young Voices provide high quality musical activities for children from age 2 to age 16 through a range of classes, choirs and workshops. In all activities, Warwickshire young Voices prides itself on professionalism - with performances reaching the highest standards. Their Musical Director, and resident composer, often writes music specifically for the children. Warwickshire young Voices are a busy group. Our mission is to create a Boychoir that over time will become one of the finest in the country. The United States doesn't have the history of boy choirs that many European countries do but we can accomplish great things by educating boys in the art of singing and performing the finest music in the boy choir tradition. Teaching young boys the commitment and work necessary to accomplish a goal develops character, discipline, leadership, global awareness, and a strong commitment to excellence. The Fortis Boy Choir can and will accomplish these goals. We will help boys to feel good about what they can be and take these lessons with them into their future families and businesses.  less
