We put on two "shows" each ...  moreThis fun-loving group of women enjoys Singing togeTher, not just for The performance factor, but also for The pure joy of Singing togeTher. We have about 25 members currently, but we are gaining new members each year. We put on two "shows" each year to raise funds that benefit The chorus as a whole. We also perform throughout The year at various venues - retirement communities, nursing homes, churches, banquets, and oTher events.

It is one of The only four Filipino choirs to have qualified to join The 14th European Grand Prix for Choral Singing ‑ The world'S most coveted choral prize. UPSA was also The official entry of The Philippines to The UNESCO International Music Prize in 2005. In The Philippines, it was named The Best University Choir in 2012 and 2004 at The “Who’s Who in The Philippines” 19th and 27th Consumers’ Choice Awards, respectively. We acknowledge The love of God, by Singing soul inspiring songs and to proclaim The word of God through Music. Mission We pursue to sing soul inspiring music with religious and patriotic songs as a way of sensitizing The power of gospel music on nature to our various friends and love ones. Biography The Celestial City Choir was initiated by two music students at University of Education, Winneba in 2010. It's formation or foundation began in early January 2011. The members who contributed to The founding were all members from Bantama Seventh-Day Adventist Church about 8 members. Later more hands were called in and official inauguration was done on June 4th 2011.  less
